When you begin a weight loss plan you will lose weight quickly in the beginning and this is great for motivation. BUT…

One of the biggest obstacles that people need to overcome when trying to lose weight is the frustration that they feel when the scales stop moving and they hit the inevitable plateau.

Just remember that this is a natural part of the process that everyone will need to deal with at some point in their programme; you just have to learn how to push your body past it so that you can start losing weight again. And you WILL start to lose weight again.

Always believe in yourself and don’t give up; do whatever it takes to push yourself over the plateau and turbocharge your results.

When working out how to eat to boost your metabolism, you need to think about how much protein you should be eating daily.

Protein is a highly thermogenic food (your body burns calories as it is digested) and is important for boosting your metabolism and shouldn’t be overlooked.

So tuck in to that steak, chicken breast or salmon fillet knowing that you are giving your metabolism a boost.
