Wow, you’ve actually come to the “About” page to check me out 😅.

If you are here, it means that you are probably choosy about who you are going to listen to and follow and that’s great –  you’re just like me!

So, here are a few words about me so you can decide whether you want to listen to me or not. Here goes.

I’m just an average guy who spent 15 years in the Armed Services, and when about to leave thought “Hmmm, what the heck am I going to do now?!?”

Being an ex-serviceman I have always had a passion for health and fitness and wanted to help others reach their goals.

Look, I’m not going to sugarcoat anything. I like to lead by example and can be brutally blunt, but if you are looking to me for guidance, then it is only right that I tell you the truth, and not tell you that it will be easy because that simply isn’t true.

I wanted a better life for me and my family. I have 4 wonderful daughters (hence my lack of hair) and they are my reason “why” I do this. Family and freedom are my 2 motivating factors and I encourage you to find your “why” because it will help you through the tough times you will face when trying to reach your health and fitness goals.

I wanted to have lots of energy to make the most of my family time, especially when the kids are young and making you run around like a lunatic!!!

I’ve always loved to write and cook so I started writing books for Kindle (baking bread, smoothies, everyday meals, all sorts of recipe books).

I eventually got a lot of positive feedback so this encouraged me to go deeper and I started writing more about physical health and fitness and started to help others lose weight and keep it off!

I’ve managed to keep myself in good shape all my life and it is never too late to start.

But you have got to believe in yourself, a LOT!!!!

And that’s where Fitness and Fat Loss was born and I come in. I can help you overcome your doubts and show you how to look after yourself physically and mentally so you can enjoy the journey ahead, and have the physical energy to be able to enjoy all the free time with your friends and family.
